Hummining with my Wii

Ok then, so it’s been a bit. Life continues as busy as ever. Nikki has finished her last class now and is mulling through the endless job opportunities in an attempt to land something decent. Her struggle should pay off here in the next few days/weeks. Finals are over now and I find myself….. right back in the middle of more classes. Yes my 3 day rest from school was nice but a bit on the short side. Anyway, I am enjoying the new job as it has me actually THINKING!! School is school and I find myself reminded of why I was so bored in a lot of the classes in high school. Fortunately, I am still taking half of my classes online so the craziness is tolerable for now. We have been looking for houses for a few weeks now, and recently it has become more serious and involved. We have found a really nice place in Pleasant Grove and are looking into the details. We have some reservations as it is on the higher end of what we are looking to pay, but it has a lot of features that, I feel, make it well worth it. If it DOES go through and we were to buy the house, we would have a few things that many of you may be interested, some more than others. For instance, it has a very large second living room downstairs which would lend itself perfectly as a Quake room, and help alleviate the stress on Shane and Ashley.

Furthermore, it has a separate entrance to the basement through the garage and a key pad. This means that, under preset stipulations, in the event the Nikki and I were to be out of town or singing and dancing, as the case may be, y’all could continue to party on down until we got home and were able to join. ALSO, this large living room is part of a complete 2 bedroom apartment in which someone could live. If this goes through I would present it to all of you, meaning our friends, as a possibility. I know most of you already have houses and condos and apartments and what ever, BUT it would be open. I can think of 3 that may be open to the possibility, Dave (though supposedly in charge of his parents place), Heather (although I don’t know if it would be in her interest to live down here), and Jamie (when she gats back from her trip to Europe). I will keep you posted on what may transpire in either direction. Toodles!

Yay house! I'm desperately curious to know which house it is, since I drive down that street quite often. Yay for gaming, and yay for you guys being close!

It's a red brick house about 7 or 8 houses in from the intersection by Smiths. It has a For Sale By Owner sign in the front yard. As for my oppinion, I like the house because it is very big, but the kitchen is BUTT ugly... Also, I don't know if it is a smart move to make an offer before I get my next job... :S

If the kitchen is really ugly, you always have friends to help remodel. I know i'm handy with a paint brush... sometimes. :) I helped my mom remodel her house (some of it, four bedrooms, living room, kitchen, and Bathroom. :)) In any case... Houses are nice!

Ah, a nice Quakeroom closer to our house.

Good luck on the job hunt, the Nikki!! Remember to NOT disembowl your interviewer. They usually get kinda mad about that. Though from what I hear passing gas is acceptable (Ask Dave).
