A round of Happy Birthday's on the House!

Ok so the holiday threw me a bit off. Or maybe I just wanted to wait to post a happy birthday blog or something. Either way here we are. So I’m officially joining the OLD people (i.e. you guys) and I’m feeling a new sense of maturity about myself. I can hardly remember the last time I tried to urina…….hmm maybe I shouldn’t go there. So last weekend my wife convinced me to start working on my Crawler again and try to get the next part done before we have to move. So I pulled the rear axle out and trussed it. It went much faster and was much easier than I thought it would be. Now all I have to do is fabricate and weld on a few mounting brackets and build the tie rods and I am ready to mount my rear suspension. By this point I expect most of you to be looking at your computer screens like a chicken sizing up a chemistry experiment, that is if you haven’t skipped right on past the last few sentences. Anyway, it’s fun for me so poo on you (but that wouldn’t be fun for me, or anyone else I can think of so never mind). The house purchase is going well, we are basically qualified and ready to go. If anyone would like to come and see it before we buy it, we’ll be setting up a time to go and do the home inspection sometime soon. If your interested let either of us know and we’ll keep you apprised to the day and time we’ll be going. So only a few more days until the BIG Quake-fest/Dave’s B-Day party and I am getting excited as all get out. Tragically family affairs will detain Nikki and I for either Saturday or Friday night (cursed hey hauling). But other than that I should have a good portion of the time to spend there. I start my programming class (C++) on Monday, so I was looking at the syllabus and what not. It seems the first week is mainly dealing with things like “this is the processor, it thinks about stuff” and “this is NOT a cup holder” so I expect it to be kinda boring. That’s about it, besides Nikki having horrible craving for Lucky Charms last night. Oh, when does Heather come back, we miss her beating up on Dave…… and Jeff……and Shane……and anyone else who questions her integrity or mentions “her bidness”? Later!

HAIL TO THE BIRTHDAY MONKEY!!!!

Anyways, Happy Birthday to you.

It kinda sucks that you have to haul "hey". But I guess hauling hay would actually require physical labor........*snicker*

At least we'll get some good fragging in the rest of the time you guys will be at the party. BTW you still haven't told me (or I assume anyone) what you want for your birthday. Just a thought.

Hay it's your birthday, hay it's your birthday, hay it's your birthday now. Another year older another year closer to DEATH!

(and yes, the hay was intentional ;)

Yay for birthdays! Oh, and I followed the section about your crawler (at least most of it anyway).

I read the section about your crawler...I didn't actually follow it. But such is your skill at writing--I'm hooked even if I'm clueless.

P.S.--Happy birthday! Yet another person I'm younger than--ha ha!

P.P.S--I'm back. I arrived earlier tonight (Wednesday) and I'm pretty sure that I've officially been up for over twenty-four hours. I'm wired, and a little goofy right now....I can see myself falling to the floor in a dead coma at any second...

I missed beating up on Dave and Jeff and Shane too--I'll get right on correcting that situation ASAP. Can you believe that my "bidness" was an even bigger conversational piece in Taiwan? I had to withhold any beatings upon anyone mentioning it, though...otherwise I would have had to slap the whole country. :)

Tee Hee.

It was only a topic of conversation in Taiwan because you probably had the biggest 'bidness' in the entire country.

It's funny because it's true. I had to make a conscious effort not to giggle at their selection of bra sizes every time we walked by the ladies underwear section in the stores there. Needless to say, I failed 99% of the time.

Ah, bidness--it never ceases to interest me. :)
