We're on a mission from Glod!

Yea its march now and I am attempting to catch up my blog. The search for a better position lingers on and on and on. I have lost count on how many positions I have applied and interviewed for. The story is always the same that I have a lot of the great and wonderful attributes they are looking for but in the end it comes down to a matter of who knows how to run the machines on the floor the most. I have met almost the entire research and development team now and all of them like me and feel I have great potential. Anyway I don’t want to whine all the time. So I am still in school and doing pretty well. I nearly aced my last math exam and I have another one due early next week, which I also intend to ace. Preparations are well under way for the trip to New York and just today the camera I bought for Nikki was delivered. The more I am married to her the more I truly feel I am the luckiest man alive. So….. my car is in the shop. My neighbor backed into the driver side door and cracked the fiberglass. Meanwhile Nikki has been reduced to driving a Ford rental car (sorry to those who like fords but I have been catching a lot of flack from my parents about it). Hopefully it will be done by Friday but we’ll see. Other than that life has been generally uneventful, which is one excuse for having not written. Chris has invited Nikki and I to join the D&D group which I think will be a lot of fun…….provided that I can ever attend. I will be playing a character that is almost completely rolled at random, including race, class and attributes. Thus far I am actually quite pleased although certain things had to be chosen out of regard to the obvious. Um… the dogs are good, fat but good. Nikki is getting even more excited about graduating and has come to the realization that she’ll need to pick up a hobby to keep her self busy. This makes me a little jealous as I have more hobbies than I could possibly keep up with even without school or a job. I hope she finds something she really enjoys and makes her feel fuzzy inside. Because fuzzy insides are the best kinds! I would like to set up a few camping trips this summer and invite everyone to attend. Perhaps I could bring the horses and who ever wanted could ride them in the mountains. What ever, let me know if this is a bad idea or if no one would actually come to save me the trouble of planning it. I hear that Dave is planning a LAN party for his birthday. This makes me smile in a few places (some of you may ask “places like here at home and there abroad or places like mouth and stomach and rectum”. To this I say that you should think about that for a while and possibly write a thesis about the ability of body parts to smile or at least some close approximation) and I am hopeful I’ll be able to attend for at least most of it. I have come up with a few ideas for finishing the interior of my truck and hope to begin them as soon as I finish priming and painting the outside this summer. The more time I spend in school the more my brain becomes hungry. I am a learning fool right now. I am currently studying Health, Math, Writing, German, Russian, and hope to soon start Spanish. I feel my enthusiasm will decline dramatically when I have to start actually GOING to school and tolerating all the other students. Nikki and I hope to start looking for a house soon as the whole living at home thing has been old since…..well since we moved back in. I can only imagine how Dave feels but then he has a lot of cool home theater stuff in his area of the house. We hope to me moving out by say July or August but then that is what we have PLANNED. Thus it will either be next week or next year, at least that is what history would suggest. Anywho, I am off to New York. I’ll write when we get back and elaborate on the experience a little. Until then may all your dreams about being eaten alive by large prehistoric reptiles remain in your head where they belong. Bloody escaping dreams anyway. Maybe someday when you’re older I’ll tell you a story that happened to me one time. Maybe. Also try having your music with rocks in, you just might like it. J
